研究方向

  本课题组专注于研究促进神经退行性疾病(包括阿尔兹海默症、肌萎缩性脊髓侧索硬化症、脑卒中、多发性硬化症等等)病理发展过程的细胞分子机理,并基于原创发现的生物学问题,设计相应的基因或药物调控手段,探索新的神经退行性疾病治疗方法。

  本课题组利用先进的单细胞分析技术,长期从事探索多种不同类型中枢神经系统细胞,包括神经细胞、内皮细胞、小胶质细胞、少突胶质细胞、周细胞、星型胶质细胞和少突胶质祖细细胞等等,在神经退行性疾病不同发病阶段的分子病理变化,重点关注细胞凋亡、程序性坏死和炎症小体激活对神经退行性疾病病理进程的影响。

  本课题组在探索β淀粉样蛋白,Tau蛋白和ApoE蛋白等传统神经退行性疾病相关致病蛋白的新型致病机理和干预策略的同时,也将利用多种前沿的蛋白质组学,单细胞测序等技术,研究心血管和代谢疾病对老年认知功能障碍的影响及其作用机制。
