现任中国科学院上海有机化学研究所生命过程小分子调控全国重点实验室课题组长。
1.以人类疾病为导向,综合利用结构生物学、化学生物学、生物化学等多手段的交叉学科研究,具体包括:研究与癌症、神经退行性疾病相关的细胞自噬通路,揭示相关未知的分子机制和致病机理;研究与疾病相关的重要E3泛素酶和去泛素酶的结构与作用机制,并研发相关的小分子调节剂和靶向降解技术,用于后续相关的化学生物学和潜在的疾病治疗研究。
2.活性小分子的化学生物学研究,具体包括:天然活性小分子与靶点蛋白相互作用的机制研究;重要生物合成酶与小分子的互作机制以及相关的催化反应机理研究。
