It has become increasingly apparent that sustainable treatment of difficult diseases such as neurodegenerations and malignant cancers requires targeting multiple different proteins or genes. We have innovated self-assembling polymer linkers for rapid construction of multi-specific biologics with the capability of targeting multiple receptors on the cell surface while carrying multiple different toxins or anti-sense oligonucleotides. This technology, designated NAPPA, offers the combinatorial flexibility to screen for optimal target and payload combinations for testing preclinical hypotheses while having the potential of becoming viable therapeutic agents themselves.
