Congrats to Youliang He and Yuxiao Wang for their latest publication in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. We have developed a Sm/SmI₂-mediated deoxygenative cross-coupling of aromatic amides with polyfluoroarenes through direct C-H functionalization.
