I just heard that Lixin Dai passed away at the age of 100. Please accept my condolences. He was a remarkable man, and scientist who will have gone through so many changes in society. Hard to imagine a bigger difference in society over the last 100 years but of course our values remain constant -  kindness, empathy, supporting ones colleagues - all of which Laixin had in abundance.
